11572 Schindler (1993 RM7) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 15, 1993 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.[1] According to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory database, the asteroid was named after Oskar Schindler, whose actions during World War II were featured in Steven Spielberg's film Schindler's List.[1]
